A Sign of Progress
A new pylon sign was recently installed just east of Murphy Road on the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway at the Santa Cruz Commerce Center. Designed by Nice Creative of Tempe and engineered and built by Maricopa Sign Company of Maricopa, the new sign gives greater visibility to the fully improved industrial park and its tenants.
Once the design was approved by the Ak-Chin Industrial Park Board and Ak-Chin Planning and Zoning Commission, the individual components were built and assembled off-site.
After the area was staked and the footings were poured, the assembly began on-site.
An impressive piece of engineering!
The component pieces were lifted into place.
A worker guides a pylon into alignment. As components were placed, workers secured them.
Next, the facing panels and logos were added. Finally, power was connected for nighttime illumination and the tenants’ names were added.
