Two Week Closure of Regional Airport for Final Resurfacing

The Ak-Chin Industrial Park Board announced that the Ak-Chin Regional Airport (formerly Phoenix Regional Airport) will be closed via an FAA NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) for approximately two weeks beginning about August 24th for final resurfacing of the runway and taxiway. The resurfacing work includes crack repairs, re-sealing, repainting thresholds, runway numbering, and taxiway striping and is all part of the planned $1 million renovations.
