Work begins on new “Deep Well” project at Santa Cruz Commerce Center

The Ak-Chin Water Operations Manager announced that construction has begun on a second well to serve future Santa Cruz Commerce Center projected demands. The initial waterlines for this system were installed during an entire renovation of the Center in 2007, anticipating the need for additional supply as new tenants complete their projects. The new well will connect to the existing storage facilities within the Center, augmenting operational supplies and necessary fire flows generated by the Commerce Center’s growth.
